Loving Our Neighbor:

"...love your neighbor as yourself."  Matthew 22:39

This seemingly simple charge given by Jesus Himself is the second most important thing that we are called to do.  So who is our neighbor?  We believe that our neighbor is anyone and everyone.  Our neighbors are the people who live right next door to us and who work with us.  They're the cashiers, tellers, teachers, and the tire-fixers in our lives.  They include our friends at school, the drivers in the next lane over, and the homeless living on the streets.  We believe that loving our neighbor starts right here in our own community and stretches as far as the other side of the world.  The organizations and ministries below are many of the places and ways we choose to love our neighbors. 

Pregnancy Resource Center - 
Ponder this fact for a moment: Thousands of women sojourn to Grand Rapids, the "City of Churches" to terminate their pregnancies. Instead of seeking and finding refuge in their time of need, they are seeking and finding death! Aberdeen Elementary -
Is a Grand Rapids Public School, we as a church try to help out wherever we can. We run an after school program on the fourth Monday each month, this is a time when the kids are bused in and spend 2 hours with us.
